Mr. David R. Badger

David R. Badger is the founder of David R. Badger, P.A. in Charlotte, N.C., and has been practic- ing bankruptcy for more than 40 years. He has extensive trial experience in criminal and civil state and federal courts and focuses on bankruptcy and workout issues in all chapters, consumer and business, debtor and creditor representation. Mr. Badger was among the first attorneys to be certi- fied as a Trial Advocate by the ATLA. He is Board Certified as a bankruptcy specialist by both the American Board of Certification and the North Carolina State Bar, for which he was as a former member of its Specialization Committee. Mr. Badger has been named a North Carolina Super Law- yer and is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, He is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America and was named a Business North Carolina Magazine "NC Legal Elite." Mr. Badger is a co-founder and past chairman of both the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers' Consumer Areas of Practice Section and the Bankruptcy Section of the North Carolina Bar Association. He received his under- graduate degree and J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1969 and 1972, respectively.
