Ms. Helena Sprenger
Helena Sprenger is the resident partner in the New York office of Houthoff Buruma, a Dutch law firm, where she advises clients, including many large international corporations and financial institutions, in the context of corporate, corporate finance and international capital market transactions. She has par- ticular expertise in asset finance and the restructuring of cross-border financial lease transactions. Ms. Sprenger advises clients under Netherlands law, as well as under the applicable laws of the Dutch Carib- bean, including CuraÂao, Aruba and Suriname. Previously, she was a partner of a leading global law firm in New York, where she headed its Dutch and Dutch Caribbean law practice for 10 years, then started her own practice in 2009 prior to joining Houthoff Buruma in 2012. Ms. Sprenger received her Master of Laws and her Master of Economics from the University of Groningen.
