
Mr. Jeffrey D. Ganz
Jeffrey D. Ganz is a partner at Riemer & Braunstein LLP in Boston, where he represents asset-based lenders, established financial institutions, creditors in the secondary loan market, commercial prop- erty owners, bankruptcy trustees, and other secured and unsecured creditors. His experience includes disputes over use of cash collateral, debtor-in-possession financing, relief from the automatic stay, ex- emptions, defense and prosecution of fraudulent transfer and preference claims, objections to and ex- emptions from discharge, breach-of-fiduciary-duty claims, challenges to plan confirmation, motions to confirm a creditor's plan of reorganization, and motions to convert and/or dismiss. Mr. Ganz practices before the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Districts of Massachusetts, the Northern District of Illinois, the Northern District of New York, the District of Connecticut and the Middle District of Florida. He also has a substantial amount of experience in the state and federal courts of Massachusetts in cases involving the enforcement of commercial contracts and loan arrangements, and he has tried cases in the Superior and District Courts of Massachusetts, as well as argued before the First Circuit Court of Appeals and First Circuit BAP, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, a justice of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, and the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Mr. Ganz is a member of the Massachusetts, New York and Illinois Bar Associations. He received his B.A from Tuffs University in 1989 and his J.D from Boston College Law School in 1993.
