Hon. Mark S. Wallace

Hon. Mark S. Wallace is a Bankruptcy Judge for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California in Santa Ana, appointed on Jan. 20, 2011. Prior to beginning his legal practice, he clerked for Hon. William B. Enright of the Southern District of California from 1977-79. He then joined Meyer Hendricks Victor Osborn & Maledon, where he worked from 1979-91. He was later employed at Stut- man, Treister & Glatt P.C. from 1991 until his appointment. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Wallace chaired the Bankruptcy and Workouts Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Taxation and chaired the Taxation Section of the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He served as an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School from 2002-10, where he taught a class in bankruptcy taxation. During the 1980s, he served as an adjunct professor at Arizona State University College of Law, where he taught classes in federal income taxation and business planning. Judge Wallace received his Bachelor?s degree from Princeton University in 1974 and his J.D. from Columbia University in 1977.
